Wifey and I were craving a juicy, meaty gyro sandwich meal with fries. Our naughty, but well intentioned desire was to start the meal with some good flaming saganaki. Opa! All our palette's wants were met. Good, cheap spot that is basically a casual coney-breakfast diner meets simple Greek food. Not a dining "experience" by any means but you will leave satisfied without breaking the wallet.

Second time here. The food was ok. The problem I have with the place is the lack of cleanliness. The menu and special placards and holders on table were filthy, looked like they were covered in oily fingerprints. Went to the bathroom and both hallway and mens bathroom were filthy. On way you go past kitchen. The floor was covered in food and lettuce pieces. The grills looked like they had not been cleaned in years. We will not go back.

What a great place to eat when you're on your way to the AMC Forum. I had one of the most wonderful pieces of spinach pie that I have ever tasted. It was freshly made and delicious. The numerous salad choices made it difficult to decide what to order. My friend ordered the Maurice salad and it looked delicious. She mentioned that the dressing tasted more like Thousand Island, though, but she'd order it again. We want to work our way through the salads, so we certainly will be going back again. The service was great! The food was excellent. Can't wait to go there again.

Pretty decent food! My family and I come here every so often for something unique. My Dad normally gets the fish and it is generally good, but their not consistent. My Mom does not like it due to several food problems. I once got a quesedilla so greasy i couldn't hold it. However the breakfast is good. Just come on the special days Monday-Saturday 6-11am. I recommend the western omelet with sausage and american cheese instead of ham!

I wanted to go here because a couple of years ago, I tried their Pastitsio and was really surprised at how good it was...but, I should've let that remain a memory.... This time.....not so good... My sister had falaffel and they gave her with it, what we were later told was Tzatziki sauce...but it was rather oily and we were unsure of what it actually was....ehh... I might skip it next time, with so many other restaurants in the area...

This review is just on the Gyros, because that is what I go to Honey Tree for. Their Gyros are great, not the frozen slices that are the same size that you get at other places in the area. The service has always been good when I go there, so no complaints there.

Well I decided to give this place a try again, since I was thinking I had not been there for quite a while. The place was dead at dinner time and for a good reason, the food is typically dry tasteless. It almost seems like whoever cooks there never tastes the food. I had a huge chicken wrap thing that is delicious at other places...(Olgas, little greek place in Utica. The staff sits around in the corner and the service is subpar. The food is not worth the break in the prices. I would steer clear if you enjoy good tasting food. Cleanliness seems OK. Bathroom was not too clean on the day I went.. I have been here 3x and it's three strikes and your out for me. I wouldnt take my family there again. Just being brutally honest, and trying to save you time and dissapointment. I am a fan of good homemade food, but homeade is not always good.. FYI

I have never been disappointed or felt mediocre about the food here, EVER! All the choices are delicious and moderately priced, but the shining star on their menu is their gyro and Greek selections. I recommend the gyro dinner plate. It entails a huge portion of perfectly seasoned meat, fluffy Greek rice with tomato sauce, onions and tatziki for condiments and warm pita bread. The decor is typical "mom and pop" stylings and the wait staff is very efficient and substantial. Treat yourself to this hidden gem and forgo the chain restaurants that surround this establishment.

We always get good homemade fresh food with good service each time we go here. I think the prices are a little high for the atmosphere but I'd rather pay more and get it fresh! This is an ok place to stop for food if you're in a hurry for a movie at the AMC. Service was fast and the food was serviceable. My falafel sandwich was decent (the falafels were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside), and my wife liked her BLT. If you've been to a honey tree, you probably know what to expect here.

Unfortunately, I am beginning to think that my last trip wasn't a fluke. I met up with the fam for breakfast on Sunday and ordered the falafel combo. Again, mushy falafels, bland hummus, soggy tabbouleh and a sad excuse for fattoush.
